In 2008, Kathy Fritz, owner of Bead Soup, started a free beading group called Beading in Circles and added it to the social network, Meetup. The goal was to bring fellow beaders in the DC and Baltimore metropolitan areas together for a time of fellowship, sharing and fun! There is no formal instruction during this time, but attendees should feel free to ask questions of the Bead Soup staff and other group members!
Beading In Circles - Wednesday Beading in Circlesis held every Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the beading area at the Bead Soup store in Savage Mill. Bring your current project, start a new one, or have a look around the store for some inspiration. Beading In Circles is free and every skill level is encouraged to attend!
Beading In Circles - Evening For those not able to attend during the day, a sub-group was formed called Beading In Circles - Evening. This group meets every other Friday evening at Bead Soup from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Beading Circles - Evening is free and every skill level is encouraged to attend. Please check the schedule for the exact dates this group will meet.
Please check the  Beading In Circlesis part of the Meetup network. You do not have to join the group on Meetup to attend, however those that join the Beading In Circles group online at MeetUp will receive store discounts the day of the event. |
