Bead Soup is located at 8600 Foundry Street Suite 604-207 Savage, Maryland 20763. Since we opened our doors we have become known in the DC and Baltimore Metropolitan areas as a friendly whimsical store with a little bit of everything. We offer a full selection of beads, beading supplies, tools, books, magazines, classes and kits.

Monday and Tuesday Closed

Wednesday-Saturday 10-6:00 p.m.

Sunday 12-5:00 p.m.

Monday and Tuesday are appointment only if you are traveling in the area. Please call prior to your visit

We will follow the guidelines of Howard County:

Everyone will need to wear a mask if masks are mandated at the time - no exceptions.

I'm so lucky to live close and to have found this shop. As others have said, it's much more than a "shop." It's a beautiful art space that encourages creativity in each guest with the help of infinitely patient instructors. Light the Way Key Chain

This brick stitch candle will light the way to the holiday season. You will have a brick stitch candle and a holiday wreath and a bauble, tassel and a beautiful pine cone charm.

Please note that you must know the ins and outs of how to do basic flat brick stitch for this project to be successful. With this purchase you will receive a word chart and a color chart but no instructions on how to start and stop the brick stitch construction of the gingerbread man.

The clasp and jump rings are plated gold.There is also 2.5 inches of plated silver chain. There are also two plated charms and a pine cone charm at the bottom You will receive enough size 11/0 Delicas to create one candle and one wreath. Our sample was created with 6lb Fireline and a size 12 beading needle. We did not experiment with other threads and/or needles so we cannot predict the outcome of your finished project if you decide to use something other than we recommend.

This purchase is for a beading kit only. You will not receive a finished gingerbread man or a constructed key chain
