Hummingbird Fob

Spring is in the air and next thing you it will be summer and the hopes of seeing a real hummingbird will be at hummingbird feeder in Maryland but for now you can bead your own hummingbird fob. This the larger of our two fobs.

This fob can be used to hang from a purse, key chain, bead bag or wherever you want it to hang. You can also use these as a tiny tapestry or ornament. Once you have the pattern you can work it up in any color you want. The metal component is approximately 2 1/4’ long and the peyote strip is slightly over 2” long.

This strip is done in even count peyote. You will receive a word and color chart but you must know how to start and stop the even count peyote because you do not receive these instructions with your kit. The peyote strip is zipped on the back side of the fob which is looped over the D ring.. I have found that beading a little looser than normal will help to zip the fob a little more easily since it does fit a little snuggly against the fob.

In this kit you will receive enough size 11/0 Delicas to create one beaded peyote strip and one metal D Ring.
