Welcome to Bead Soup

Who doesn’t need a little fat bat this Halloween season. Remember there is a wooden rondelle in the middle. It can be found on our Bead page.

This project is perfect for any advanced beginner and above. You will be beading around a wooden structure so prior knowledge of beading stitches will be very helpful.

All of our beading projects at Bead Soup are made with Miyuki beads so we cannot guarantee the outcome if you decide to use something other than what we used in our samples. Our samples were created with 6lb Fireline and a size 12 beading needle. We did not experiment with other beading thread and/or needles so we cannot guarantee the outcome if you decide to use something other than what we used.

It’s Halloween once again at Bead Soup! This trio is a dark and sinister set of three matching tea lights that come at a discount or if you favor one you can buy your favorite.

The trio has coordinating colors. There is also a cute 3D printed tea light stand on the Fun Things page so you can display your tea lights

They are even count peyote so they work up quickly. Please note that you must know how to do even count peyote because with this purchase you will only be receiving a word and color chart along with the coordinating size 11/0 Delicas listed in the color chart. Each purchase is for one tealight unless you are buying the complete set of three.

Each kit comes with a battery operated tealight. Batteries can be replaced so the tealight will last a very long time.

Our samples were made with 6lb Fireline and a size 10 beading needle. We did not experiment with other beading thread and/or needles so we cannot guarantee the outcome if you use something else.

Please note that this purchase is for a kit with word/color chart only. You will not receive a finished tealight with this purchase

It’s never too early for Christmas so here is our first Christmas star of 2026. It is nine rows with the same image on the front as it is on the back.

As with all of our stars you will need to know the basics of peyote star making because with this purchase you will receive a printed pattern that include a word and color chart but no step-by-step instructions for starting and sewing your warped squares together. Those instructions can be found with our one Mini Star found on our Peyote Star page.

Our sample was made with 6lb Fireline and a size 10 beading needle. We did not experiment with other beading thread and/or needles so we can not guarantee the outcome if you decide to use something other than what we used.

You will receive enough size 11/0 Delicas to create one Early Christmas Star 2026. You will also receive stuffing to fill your star.

Please note this purchase is for a kit only. You will not receive a finished star with this purchase.
