We've opened a new studio so we're starting a new group. This group is going to bring out the best in everyone. You can work on anything you want and hopefully we'll all learn something new from each other. We know there is so much more out there than just beads so why not share some knowledge or just show off what you do!
If you want to bead, you are more than welcome to pack up some beads and join us too.
For the first meeting we'll start at Bead Soup just in case I don't have all the chairs and tables ready but we'll take a walk and show everyone.
Since this group isn't about beads or beading there is a $10 fee
Learn the Basics of a Bead Embroidery in September 2025
Class is free with a purchase of a basic bead embroidery kit
Each basic bead embroidery kit is $20. There are multiple kits to pick from. You can pick up a kit the day of the event. Please note you will also need needle and thread. We can guide you with the purchase of needle and thread if you need them or you can bring your own
Happy Hour Bracelet Making Event
Happy Hour braclet making event is $20 . You can make your bracelet in either gold or silver and you can desice which design that you would like to do.

We will have three new kits by Diane Hertzler. You can request the kits to be shipped or pick them up or reserve a spot and hang out and bead with us.
We will also have new Bead Soup kits. Pictures will be available once the projects are designed.

Class fee includes everything you need to create one pumpkin. Extra kits can be purchased from Elizabeth after class

You must purchase a kit in order to take this class. We have a new peyote bracelet for $20. You can also learn how to make fobs for $8 and $10 or a pen wrap for $10. You must have the appropriate beading thread and needle. Our samples were made with 6lb Fireline and a size 10 beading needle. Thread and needles are not included in your kits

Precious Metal Clay is created from silver particles reclaimed from old electronics, fine silver that can be manipulated to all ends of the imagination!

Bead Soup will hold a quick, on the spot, Silver Clay Charm Day, Saturday October 25th 11 - 2pm
We will have a table full of molds and a bit of clay to play - $25, and you can make your own charm. Just a quick taste to experience how cool this medium is to create with. And simple! This moment will give you a feel for how simple it can be.
You will be introduced to molds, given a bit of silver, then a date to return for your charm (and maybe pick out some beads, chain, ribbon to hang it on - ready to wear out!
Join us Saturday, October 25th from 11 - 2pm. A call to let us know you are interested is great - but you can just pass through too.
Lots of spooky charms available, but we will have others on hand too
Silver artist, Michelle Arsenault will help you mold your own fine silver charm with Precious Metal Clay $25 per charm. Michelle will give you a quick introduction to process of transforming reclaimed silver clay (PMC) into a beautiful pure silver charm. Beginners are most definitely welcome! Bring a friend (or two) we will be having just so much fun! (You will come back to pick up the finished fired and polished pieces from Bead Soup.)

The Lil’ Bag Workshop with Sherry Serafini-In Studio Only

Lil’ Bag Creative freedom! This little bag is a premade zipper pouch. It measures 7 ¼” x 4 ½” and will hold a cell phone, make up, etc. Choose your own cabs to go with the batik. Cabs will be available in class to choose from. Then bead embroider to your hearts delight on batik that you wrap around beading foundation! Design will most certainly be discussed as there is always somewhat of a “plan”…even if things are asymmetrical in design! Fun! Kit includes beads shown, fabric covered buttons, metals, cup chain and two hole beads. Metal flowers will vary.

Hollow Forms-Lentil Beads with Michelle Arsenault

For this lesson, we will be working with 25gms Art Clay fine silver.
There are a couple different ways to achieve the hollow form bead, we will work through a lentil bead and
discuss the other possibilities with demo and discussion.
Many considerations will be covered in this class - the subject, texture, decorating,
as well as tips and tricks to achieving a seamless join.

Class will have a break after the initial forms are created -
for drying in the dehydrator, for easier construction.

This event is perfect for any level student. Everything you need is included in the cost of the class. Extra silver is available for purchase if you want to make additional items
Mushrooms in August 2025 Shrinket Friday
Kit fee is $5 to be paid to Charlaine before the start of class. You will receive what is shown in the picture (excluding the ring that can be purchased at Bead Soup) and you are always encouraged to bring your own beads and specialty items if you would like to make changes. Markers, pencils and pens are supplied but it always encouraged to bring your own if you have them. Sharing can sometimes take more time that you like because supplies are limited. Always bring scissors, tape measures or rulers and a pencil with an eraser.
This is a one day workshop with Charlaine. Everything you need to create the Shrinkets is included in the class. Beads and findings are extra and can be found in the studio

Girls Night Out at Savage Mill Event
This event is hosted by Savage Mill. Bead Soup will be doing make and take earring for $5. We will also have all types of beads and crystals to make your one-of-a-kind earrings. If you don't wear earrings you can now make a pendant instead of earrings. If you don’t feel like creating we will have some earrings already made so you can just pick them up and go. They are also $5
