May Event Cabochons and Bezeling with Firespell Designs
Bridgett from Firespell Designs will be in the studio for a May Event. This one is going to be a little different if you want to join in the fun. We have the permission of Kelly Dale to use her pattern-BUT you must purchase your pattern from her prior to the event if you want to stay and bead with us using that pattern. You can stay and do bead embroidery or just shop too.
This event is open to the public so it’s a day to do whatever you want to do.
Bridgett will have all new cabochons in all different themes so you definitely won’t want to miss this event
Firespell Design Cabochons with a Twist- In Studio Only
Bridgett will be in the studio with all new spring cabochons and so much more. The sale of her cabochons are from 11-3:00 p.m.
The twist to this event is we are trying something different. With the permission of Kelly Dale of Off the Beading Path we are using her pattern to bezel Bridgett’s cabochons.
You must purchase your pattern from Kelly prior to the event. We will not be sharing our pattern or any techniques from her pattern without you purchasing her pattern before you arrive at Bead Soup

or need the bench space and need to borrow specific tools to get it done?
Silver Studio is your answer!
What better way and time to practice your skills!?
(Or just treat yourself to some silver time)
This is time for you to work on your own while hanging out in a place where creative energies are abundant!
This is not a class, but a perfect time to refine your skills, get some guidance, use tools, molds, textures and have enough silver available to work your project.
Pre registration is necessary and silver can be purchased (at market prices) from the studio.
If you have silver clay you may bring it.
Your projects can be left for firing/ polishing/ finishing/ or not! All as needed by you.
Pieces left for firing are returned in approx 2 weeks for pickup at Bead Soup.
Registration fee of $60.

Flower Making at Orchid Cellar Meadery and Winery/Middletown
Bead Soup is taking flower making on the road! We will be at Orchid Cellar Meadery and Winery from 12-4:00 p.m. We will have make-n-take flowers, already made flower arrangements and our new mini magnets.
Punk-N-Peasant will have pierogies and kielbasa
There will also be hair tinsel, baked goods, ceramics and more

We've opened a new studio so we're starting a new group. This group is going to bring out the best in everyone. You can work on anything you want and hopefully we'll all learn something new from each other. We know there is so much more out there than just beads so why not share some knowledge or just show off what you do!
If you want to bead, you are more than welcome to pack up some beads and join us too.
For the first meeting we'll start at Bead Soup just in case I don't have all the chairs and tables ready but we'll take a walk and show everyone.
Since this group isn't about beads or beading there is a $10 fee

Tussie Mussies and Lavender Event at Penn Oaks Winery
You will receive one glass of wine from Penn Oaks Winery. There are 12 different wines to pick from once you arrive.
We have two different projects
Tussie Mussie which can either be a magnet or a pin
Lavender which also can be a magnet or a pin
Each project is $22 and comes with one glass of wine and one beading project

Each basic bead embroidery kit is $20. There are multiple kits to pick from. You can pick up a kit the day of the event. Please note you will also need needle and thread. We can guide you with the purchase of needle and thread if you need them or you can bring your own

Paper Weaving with Charlaine-In Studio
Class fee $10
Class includes all the instructions and materials to create on one woven piece as shown in the picture. Each piece can then be cut into smaller pieces and made into pendants or cabochons or displayed as shown in a picture frame.

Learn the Basics of Even Count Peyote in March 2026

You must purchase a kit in order to take this class. We have a new peyote bracelet for $20. You can also learn how to make fobs for $8 and $10 or a pen wrap for $10. You must have the appropriate beading thread and needle. Our samples were made with 6lb Fireline and a size 10 beading needle. Thread and needles are not included in your kits

St Paddy’s Charm with Charlaine’s Bracelet
This Shrinket event will require you to purchase two sheets of Shrinkets plastic from Bead Soup. . We will have plenty of beads and charms to embellish your bracelets if you want to continue to create after you have made your charms
Markers, pencils and pens are supplied but it always encouraged to bring your own if you have them. Sharing can sometimes take more time that you like because supplies are limited. Always bring scissors, tape measures or rulers and a pencil with an eraser.
The store and studio will be open from 11-3:00 p.m.
