You must purchase a kit in order to take this class. We have a new peyote bracelet for $20. You can also learn how to make fobs for $8 and $10 or a pen wrap for $10. You must have the appropriate beading thread and needle. Our samples were made with 6lb Fireline and a size 10 beading needle. Thread and needles are not included in your kits

This Shrinkets event we will kits created by Charlaine. There will be two different ones available for $5 each. To be paid in cash. You don’t have to purchase a kit if you would like to just create your own Shrinket ideas, work on something you have already started or share an idea with the group.

Markers, pencils and pens are supplied but it always encouraged to bring your own if you have them. Sharing can sometimes take more time that you like because supplies are limited. Always bring scissors, tape measures or rulers and a pencil with an eraser.

This is a one day workshop with Charlaine. Everything you need to create the Shrinkets is included in the class. Beads and findings are extra and can be found in the studio

This is a four hour class held through Zoom. Kits will be available through Bead Soup. Pricing will be available once supplies are purchased.

Knowledge of Cubic Right Angle is needed for this class. There are multiple layers in this projects so this knowledge is needed to be able to bead and keep up with the pace of the class.

This group started off with the intentions of me having the ability to teach while running the store BUT after the December get together I realized that I am not able to do that so the scope of this group is a get together and not a 4 hour teaching session. I will teach and guide as much as I can and I will not ask others to teach while they are there to work on their own projects. My customers have always been generous with their time but they are not obligated to spend their time teaching.

Bling it On!

Lets have fun with sparkle for our fingers!

This class is much more focused, not for a beginner. At minimum an intro class is encouraged. We will cover lots of different steps to build your own Silver Ring. You will work with a 25gm piece of pure silver metal clay. 

We will first be covering stones and settings, (there will be a selection available for purchase in class.) Molds and textures and manipulation of the clay will be covered. We will roll, join, layer and fold!

And next, Let's Build!!

We will again roll, join, layer, sculpt, prop and talk shrinkage to adapt for your finger size. Once everything is joined and looking the way you like - the entire piece will dry a bit in the dehydrator and we will do some fine tuning, clean up.

Michelle will then take everything home to fire and polish and the date for pick up of your new silver treasure will be decided before the end of class. 

 (PLEASE!!! know the size you want to build before coming to class.) 

As each step is covered there will be periods of down time where pieces will dry in the dehydrator,

Craft Crafter Crafting In the Open Space Studio

We've opened a new studio so we're starting a new group. This group is going to bring out the best in everyone. You can work on anything you want and hopefully we'll all learn something new from each other. We know there is so much more out there than just beads so why not share some knowledge or just show off what you do!

If you want to bead, you are more than welcome to pack up some beads and join us too.

For the first meeting we'll start at Bead Soup just in case I don't have all the chairs and tables ready but we'll take a walk and show everyone.

Since this group isn't about beads or beading there is a $10 fee

This event is free for anyone who wants to come and work on bead embroidery projects.

This event is hosted by Savage Mill. Bead Soup will be doing make and take earrings for $5. This month we will also have $5 key chains for the big and small that visit the store.

The tables will be filled with hearts and snow themed beads to make earrings and key chains.
