Bead Soup is located at 8600 Foundry Street Suite 604-207 Savage, Maryland 20763. Since we opened our doors we have become known in the DC and Baltimore Metropolitan areas as a friendly whimsical store with a little bit of everything. We offer a full selection of beads, beading supplies, tools, books, magazines, classes and kits.

Monday and Tuesday Closed

Wednesday-Saturday 10-6:00 p.m.

Sunday 12-5:00 p.m.

Monday and Tuesday are appointment only if you are traveling in the area. Please call prior to your visit

We will follow the guidelines of Howard County:

Everyone will need to wear a mask if masks are mandated at the time - no exceptions.
Please ask for a mask if you did not bring one with you
Hand sanitizer will stationed at the front and back of the store

I'm so lucky to live close and to have found this shop. As others have said, it's much more than a "shop." It's a beautiful art space that encourages creativity in each guest with the help of infinitely patient instructors. But more important, Bead Soup is a place for fellowship, good cheer and finding the artist in everyone.

Tiny Snowflake Earrings or Ornaments

This pattern and kit set is perfect for a pair of snowflake earrings or can be made into ornaments to hang on your tiny tree or our wooden Christmas trees. The pattern is beginner friendly and comes with step-by-step instructions and diagrams to guide you through the process. Your instructions will be printed.

The earring kit will come with enough supplies to make one pair of earrings. The earring hooks are silver plated fish hooks.

The ornament kit comes with enough beads for four snowflake ornaments

There is also a refill kit for the ornaments. Please note this does not have instructions so please do not buy this unless you buy one of the kits that has instructions included with it.

Our samples were created with 6lb Fireline and a size 12 beading needle. We did not experiment with different thread and/or needles so we are unsure of the outcome if you decide to use something other than what we used.

This purchase is for a kit only. You will not receive a finished pair of earrings nor will you receive any finished snowflakes.
