Bead Soup is located at 8600 Foundry Street Suite 604-207 Savage, Maryland 20763. Since we opened our doors we have become known in the DC and Baltimore Metropolitan areas as a friendly whimsical store with a little bit of everything. We offer a full selection of beads, beading supplies, tools, books, magazines, classes and kits.

Monday and Tuesday Closed

Wednesday-Saturday 10-6:00 p.m.

Sunday 12-5:00 p.m.

Monday and Tuesday are appointment only if you are traveling in the area. Please call prior to your visit

We will follow the guidelines of Howard County:

Everyone will need to wear a mask if masks are mandated at the time - no exceptions.
Please ask for a mask if you did not bring one with you
Hand sanitizer will stationed at the front and back of the store

I'm so lucky to live close and to have found this shop. As others have said, it's much more than a "shop." It's a beautiful art space that encourages creativity in each guest with the help of infinitely patient instructors. But more important, Bead Soup is a place for fellowship, good cheer and finding the artist in everyone.

Open Flame Earrings

Are you looking for a new earring that might be super addictive? I think I might just have the perfect earring that anyone with the skill levels of advanced beginners and above will be have fun with.

You will receive a printed pattern that include diagrams along with step-by-step instructions and enough beads to complete one pair of earrings.

There are three colorways. Each set comes with fish hook ear wires that are plated and are coordinated to the beads in the earrings. Our samples were made with 6lb Fireline and a size 12 beading needle. We did not experiment with other beading thread and/or needles so we are unsure of the outcome of your earrings if you decide to use something other than what we used.

This purchase will include beads and ear wires only. You will not receive any instructions. You must purchase the written instructions before purchasing the refill.

Please note this purchase is for a beading kit only. You will not receive a finished pair of earrings with this purchase.
