Bead Soup is located at 8600 Foundry Street Suite 604-207 Savage, Maryland 20763. Since we opened our doors we have become known in the DC and Baltimore Metropolitan areas as a friendly whimsical store with a little bit of everything. We offer a full selection of beads, beading supplies, tools, books, magazines, classes and kits.

 STORE HOURS

Monday and Tuesday Closed

Wednesday-Saturday 10-6:00 p.m.

Sunday 12-5:00 p.m.

Monday and Tuesday are appointment only if you are traveling in the area. Please call prior to your visit

We will follow the guidelines of Howard County:

  • Everyone will need to wear a mask if masks are mandated at the time - no exceptions.

  • Please ask for a mask if you did not bring one with you

  • Hand sanitizer will stationed at the front and back of the store

He’s an awfully happy jack as we get ready for Halloween so hopefully you will make him all yours this Halloween season.

Our Bead Soup projects are always done with Miyuki beads and this black cat was created with five different size 11/0 Miyuki Delicas. The colors we used are located on the color chart so once you make your purchase you will find them there.

Our sample was created with 6lb Fireline and a size 10 beading needle. We did not experiment with other beading thread and/or needles so we are unsure of the outcome if you decide to use something other than what we used.

Supplies Needed

Five-size 11/0 Miyuki Delicas

6lb Fireline or beading thread of your choice

Size 10 beading needle

This purchase is for a word/color chart only. There are no step-by-step instructions for the actual brick stitch beading so prior knowledge is needed to be successful with this project.

Please be aware there are no refunds on downloads so make sure this project is within your beading ability before making your purchase.

Once you make your purchase please add the download to your computer within 24 hours otherwise it will disappear

This activity is perfect for any age

The studio is small and holds 4-5 people at a time so it is open all day for everyone to come and create at different times from 11-3:00 p.m.

The studio is also open for shopping until 4:00 p.m.
