This is the date for PART TWO-You must take part one-January 10th to be able to participate in Part two

and finally!

Saturday January 31st 1pm - 3pm (class time)

pick up and stringing of your completed treasure! 

Those completed pieces that went home with Michelle to fire and polish and "resinate"

Are returned to Bead Soup on January 31st when we will gather

to do some fancy stringing together.

Michelle will share a bit of insight to collecting and plotting of beaded chains.

(limit of 8 people per class)
* All classes need to be paid in full at the time of registration. There are no refunds or transfers for any in-store classes unless the instructor cancels the class and is unable to reschedule

Saturday January 3rd will start this Collaboration

 a Trunk show from Firespell Designs to pick your feature cab(s!) 11am - 3pm (drop in)

 

We continue on Saturday January 10th 11am - 1pm (silver class time)

you will build your Silver Frame for chosen cab

 

and finally!

Saturday January 31st 1pm - 3pm (class time)

pick up and stringing of your completed treasure!                                                                                         

If you have created with Precious Metal Clay Fine Silver, you already know it as an addictive medium to use.

Lets explore the possibilities a little further!

Lets make little frames to carry our newly chosen Firespell cabs!

In the 2nd-Part of our Collaboration you will be introduced to several techniques --

Texturing the back and sides of a "box".

Measuring & Mitering corners for a build.

Dry to dry construction for a squared edge frame.

Wet to dry construction for a bail for the frame.

or! 

 Michelle found several molds if you prefer to mold and decorate the surface instead

(you will also add an inner ring of clay, for height to hold the resin) 

It is best if you have previously worked with metal clay to partake in this session.

We will use 25gms of Art Clay Silver.

Molds and Textures available to use in class.

Extra clay always available, as well - extra Firespell cabs - for purchase too!

Completed pieces will go home with Michelle to fire and polish and "resinate"
