Nadine's Treasure Box is here! This project is going to be available in small bead stores during 2026. Nadine Tibbs is my best friend, and the box is named after her because she has the very best ideas such as using a cigar box for her travel beading needs. So far the bead stores where you can take this class are LaBeadOh, the weekend of Valentine's Day; and Bead Soup, the weekend of May 16th. During class you will be working from a kit that has color coordinated goodies from ceramic focal to large semi precious stone, from Czech beads to Japanese beads, antique escutcheon, tiny key. Your kit will come with a gooseneck book light- so you can use your box as a travel beading box/beading surface. There will also be a Vellux blanket inside to bead on. All the boxes will be different - because of the nature of the cigar boxes we are working with- and your kit will be custom too! You don't need to worry about picking out all your beads- I will have done the curating already. You will however have a chance to switch out materials if needed. Kits will be picked out before class- no need to pre-order anything. The possibilities are endless for creating your very own little treasure box.
