Paper Weaving with Charlaine
Learn the technique of paper weaving with Charlaine. The strips of paper are already cut and ready to be woven so it’s your job to be creative with your origami paper.
Weaving origami paper is a fantastic way to transform thin, fragile sheets into a sturdy, tactile textile. It’s essentially "paper fabric." To create a rectangle, you are looking at a process called plain weaving, where two sets of paper strips intersect at right angles.
Once you complete your piece you can then create a piece to display in a picture frame, cut into smaller pieces to glue onto glass or wood to make pendants or cabochons etc
