About the project:
The bag is constructed using the most basic of hand sewing techniques to create a circular bag with a drawstring. The drawstring is a Kumihimo cord worked in cotton yarnusing a simple technique that is easy to learn. The top of the bag and the cord ends are worked on a beading foundation which is covered with the same silk as the bag lining, to give a background to your beadwork.The focal of the bead embroidery is a sew on stone, edged with a beaded bezel and surrounded with counted beadwork stitches. The bag top is backed with metallic paper leather and attached to the bag .The bag also has a magnetic clasp. fastening.
