Cool Cats on the 4th of July Fob
The cats are all dressed up and ready to celebrate the 4th of July on this large silver fob. Shadow is one of the most popular cats around Bead Soup and he’s hanging with my sister’s cat Cinny while they travel the world.
Fobs are a quick and easy even count peyote project. They work up quickly but please note you need to know the ins and outs of even count peyote because you will be receiving a word and color chart but no instructions. The fob is added by zipping so prior knowledge is also needed for that technique too.
Fobs can also be a small tapestry, displayed in a shadow box or hung as an ornament. Let your imagination go once you own this pattern you can change the colors and make it anything you want.
We used 9 different size 11/0 Delicas to create our color scheme and they are listed on the color chart which you will receive when you make your purchase. All 9 Delicas are included in this kit along with one fob used as shown in the picture. We used 6lb Fireline and a size 10 beading needle to create our sample. We did not experiment with other beads, thread and/or needles so we are unsure of the outcome if you use other materials than what we did. Thread and/or needles are not included in your kit.
